ETPA is back in the Tobacco Board!!!

ETPA is pleased to announce that Mr. Mohammad Z. Mauderbaccus, who is our Secretary, has been appointed as Board Member.

ETPA wishes him every success in his future enterprises as a Board Member.  ETPA trusts that he will use his position to promote the interests of not only the Tobacco Producers but also that of the Tobacco Industry as a whole.

Following a meeting held at the Tobacco Board of Mauritius on 16^th April 2012, ETPA was informed about BAT's firm intention to cease tobacco leaf purchase in Mauritius before 2014.  Consequently, ETPA was requested to come forward with a proposal which would commensurate BAT’s decision.
