Following a meeting held at the Tobacco Board of
Mauritius on 16th April 2012, ETPA was informed about BAT's firm intention to cease tobacco leaf
purchase in Mauritius before 2014. Consequently, ETPA was requested to come forward with a proposal which would
commensurate BAT’s decision.
